A firebomb was hurled at the entrance of a mahjong club in Fanling yesterday morning. The bottle of fuel exploded outside the front door of the club in Luen Chit Street shortly before 6am, and staff doused the flames with water. A few minutes later an abandoned car was found ablaze off Ping Che Road, Ta Kwu Ling. Police are investigating both cases.
