'Pig Man' turns into handsome prince

The easiest and most effective way to refresh your appearance may be to get a new outfit, or, as in the title of this movie, a Handsome Suit.

Like a magic potion that turns users into a handsome, charming guy in one easy step, the suit not only changes your appearance, but your entire life.

Takuro Ohki (Muga Tsukaji) is the ugliest guy in his neighbourhood. His chubby body and big nostrils have gained him the nickname 'Pig Man' and people treat him badly because of the way he looks. But he is a very honest and nice person.

One day, as he is looking for a suit to wear at his friend's wedding, the salesman recommends their newest merchandise - Handsome Suit. Takuro suits up and becomes Annin Hikariyama, a 1.8-metre tall gentlemanly hunk who looks like a Japanese James Bond.

Handsome Suit features many familiar theme songs from various Japanese television drama, including La La La Love Song from Long Vacation, Takuya Kimura's hit 90s Japanese drama. These songs have been carefully picked to echo the messages in the film.

This heart-warming comedy is written by Osamu Suziki, whose work includes some of the most popular television comedies in Japan, and directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa. It has been dubbed into Cantonese by creative duo Softhard.

Handsome Suit is an enjoyable comedy for all the family. It has an important message for children and adults, reminding us of the importance of looking beneath the surface and being true to yourself. The film opens on April 30
