Pair flee after assault

Two men aged about 20 fled empty-handed after they hit a man, 65, on the head with a hard object in an attempted robbery in Sha Tsui Road, Tsuen Wan, at 4.30pm. The victim was taken to Yan Chai Hospital.

Vandals hit six CD shops

Red paint was poured on the front gates of six CD shops in Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong and Sham Shui Po between 6am and 8.30am. Mong Kok police are investigating.
