Satirists make play where absurd licences hold sway - like the one for an 'honest cheat'

Life on the mainland is a little different from that in Hong Kong. For example, you need to obtain a lot more licences than you do here to get through a day. If you want a job, you need proof of graduation from school. Want to move from one place to another? - better get a permit, too. Naturally, fake permits for whatever official use you can think of are for sale everywhere.

So, perhaps to spoof this peculiar way of life where excessive law is met by lawlessness, absurd licences providing proof of one sort or another have been selling like hot cakes. People stick them on their octopus cards to make a social statement - or perhaps as an act of satirical protest.

Here are a few samples (pictured). They are licences for being: an obedient wife, an obedient citizen, a 'super handsome boy', a virgin, a loyal lover and an 'honest cheat'. I like the one about being a submissive citizen - I think I will stick one on my home-return permit.
