Mr Tong's appointment took effect from April 1. He is also the chairman of KPMG China, which covers both the mainland and Hong Kong. He is the client partner of several major organisations listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange, and a former chairman of the exchange's main board and GEM listing committee.

Mr Brough's client responsibilities extend to multinationals with operations in China or the region. He has acted as manager of a Hong Kong financial institution on behalf of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He is a liquidator of eight Lehman Brothers entities in Hong Kong.

Ms Kim studied hotel management in Switzerland and has more than 12 years' hospitality experience in sales. She was previously with Westin Taipei and Westin Chosun Seoul. She is confident Westin Shenzhen Nanshan, due to open in mid-2009, would make a difference in Shenzhen.

Mr Ourednik has almost 10 years' working experience in China and has held positions at Sheraton hotels in cities such as Beijing, Guilin and Xiamen. He has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including positions in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

Mr Zimmermann is responsible for the various industrial divisions in their provision of industrial, scientific and technological products, systems and services for a diverse range of sectors. Prior to this appointment, he spent more than 19 years working with Siemens in various international assignments.

Mr Buttifant qualified as an accountant in Britain and has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring, including business operations in Greater China and other emerging Asian markets. He is a non-executive director in a number of firms listed in Hong Kong and the United States.
John Dick

Mr Dick has spent more than 20 years in management roles. He most recently served as managing director of the Langham, Auckland, where he led a NZ$14 million (HK$61 million) rebranding campaign in 2005.
Xiaolu Lian

Before joining Unitas, Mr Lian spent 11 years at BNP Paribas, most recently as the managing director and chief representative of the bank's Shanghai office. While at BNP Paribas, he was involved in several initial public offerings including Asia Cement, Want Want China, Sunny Optical and Haitian International.
Toby Lawson

Mr Lawson relocated from Sydney, where he was managing director of Newedge Australia. He joined Fimat, which merged with Calyon Financial in January last year to form Newedge, in 2000 as head of futures. He also worked at Deutsche Bank and has 16 years of industry experience. Newedge is a leader in global multi-asset brokerage.
Nick Scarf

Mr Scarf joins Newedge from MF Global in Sydney. He was the managing director and chief executive of BrokerOne Australia from 1998 until September 2007, when the company was acquired by MF Global, and was responsible for integrating the business into MF Global. He has 16 years of industry experience.
