Earlier this month, more than 10,000 people visited Tap Mun for the circumnavigation of the island by a statue of Tin Hau, the goddess of the seas. The day culminated in a flotilla of fishermen accompanying the statue for a blessing at sea. The event also featured a puppet show, vegetarian food and Chinese opera performances
