The company says the entire range is made in England and contains at least 95 per cent organic ingredients selected by Bamford and harvested responsibly. The company says its body care range is certified by the highest Soil Association organic standard, adding that it is constantly researching and improving its recycled and recyclable packaging. The unisex bath and body products are used in the Bamford Hay Barn family spa, which was named Britain's best day spa by Conde Nast Traveller last year. The company says in a statement that nature provides us with the purest ingredients 'our bodies understand'. Harvested responsibly and crafted with 'the most advanced skincare methods available, the result is a range of products that simply work', the company says.

Who are the Bamfords?

Lady Carole Bamford is the wife of Sir Anthony of the global, family-run group J.C. Bamford (also known as JCB), and their spa is said to be chic, luxurious and frequented by celebrities and aristocrats, albeit taking an environmentally conscious approach. This luxury theme is carried through to their bath and body range, and is reflected in the brand's somewhat pricey goods.

Its moisturising Body Cream (HK$880/200ml) and nourishing Body Oil (HK$950/250ml) are available in two scented blends - chamomile and rosemary. The Botanic range is strong on essential oils and high quality plant extracts. The Baby range is created for a newborn's sensitive skin.
