Get back to work  on Disneyland
The firing last month by Hong Kong Disneyland of a team of  30 designers and engineers who were working on expansion plans for the theme park is a pity.  
An expansion of Disneyland has been discussed for a long time but there is still no timetable. 
It is well known that one of the reasons Disneyland hasn't attract as many tourists as expected is that is too small and has too few attractions. 
The government has already spent a lot of money on Disneyland, and I think it is unwise to let the theme park's revenues decline. I think construction work has to start as soon as possible.

Help withdrawn youths return
According to recent research, 10 per cent of teenagers in Japan are hikikomori - people with acute withdrawal syndrome. To solve this problem, we need to know why teenagers become hikikomori.
 Firstly, it is often because of their academic results. Parents and society put so much emphasis on education and academic results. When teenagers don't score well it damages their self-esteem. They think they are losers and hide away and never go out. They stay home, reading comics or playing online games to avoid others.
 Secondly, they may have been teased by their classmates because of their appearance, academic results or even their background. Usually, in some way they are different from their peers, driving them into seclusion.
 A third reason is perhaps they have graduated from school and cannot find a job. They become depressed and think  nobody understands them,  so they hide away from the world. At least they can find feelings of success in online games. 
 I think we have to do everything we can to help these people come back into society.

Practise to strive  for perfection
I know that continued  practice can improve a person's skills. If you want to swim skilfully, you need to practise and practise. If you want to have  beautiful handwriting,  you should practise again and again.
When a worker does the same job every day, he will become more proficient and his productivity rises.
 While  practising, you can remedy mistakes and solve problems. Continued practice at anything makes you more competitive. Practice makes perfect.

Parents should  give kids a break
Unlike in the US or in some European nations, students in Hong Kong always have a large amount of homework and many exams to deal with. Adults  think exams and homework are good for students, but I don't see it that way. Knowledge is important, not exams and degrees. Parents always focus on their children's exam results and ignore other abilities, such as singing, acting and playing sports. Students have no time and no way to  relax and release stress. Why do parents put so much pressure on their children?
