Acer V203HBMD 20-inch display

Now that you have bought a netbook and are ready to take your work (and fun) anywhere, it doesn't mean you cannot set up a proper work station at home. But to do that you will need to buy an external display because netbooks have small screens that can strain your eyes after long periods of use.
One of the best deals around is Acer's V203HBMD 20-inch display. It offers a maximum resolution of 1680 x 900 pixels, and a display ratio of 16:9, which is basically a very decent widescreen display. Contrast ratio is lower than others at 10,000:1, and response time at 5 milliseconds is average, but it is the price that makes the Acer LCD display stand out.
At HK$799, the V203 costs less than most 18.5-inch and 19-inch models on the market, so on an inch per dollar basis, it is certainly the best deal.
There are comparable models in the segment that you might want to take a look at, such as AOC's 18.5 inch F19 at HK$749, and BenQ's 20-inch G2020HD at HK$999, which both have a higher contrast range. For netbook users, an external display is almost a must-have item at home.
And while prices for bigger 23-inch (and above) models are coming down, be sure to check the workspace, as well as the capabilities of your machine's graphics card. Pros: less strain on your eyes, best display in terms of inch per dollar Cons: low contrast ratio, average response time
