Floating sensation

The Angsana Velavaru in the pristine South Nilandhe Atoll of the Maldives will open a standalone collection of water villas in July. The resort, 1km from the island of Velavaru, features a cluster of 34 InOcean Villas as well as an Italian restaurant and bar. Glam it up

Langham Hotel has upped the glam stakes, turning a rare piece of Shanghai's old-world architectural glamour into the city's first art deco boutique hotel: the Langham Yangtze. The hotel took over the old Yangtze Hotel in 2008 and, after a multi-million dollar renovation, has restored it to its former glory.
