The Hong Kong squad claimed three gold medals in the Subic ITU Asian Cup in the Philippines yesterday. Olympian Daniel Lee Chi-wo retained his title in the men's elite race, while China's Zhang Yi-ming and Sun Li-wei finished second and third. In the women's elite event, Tania Mak So-ning and Joyce Cheung Ting-yan led from the swim through to the finish line to deservedly claim the top two places in the under-23 category. Cheung Tsz-hei and Law Leong-tim also took the gold and silver medals in the male elite junior category.
