What's their philosophy?

The founders say they have made a commitment to creating natural products that embrace a green lifestyle. 'Every decision we make is based on the philosophy that nature invites perfect balance. This means treading lightly on the planet, taking only what we need and giving back what we can.' Leube learned about alternative healing in the 1970s while travelling and educated herself on plant therapy and maintaining a healthy diet. She was introduced to essential oils in the 1980s when running a health food store in Munich. When one of the store's vegetable suppliers shared an essential oil sample with her, she began researching aromatherapy and her life changed.

Nubling spent the 1970s travelling and developed an interest in essential oils while trekking through India. When he returned to Germany, he studied agriculture, massage and physiotherapy. He founded and built a holistic education centre in his local community, where he offered aromatherapy massages and shared his growing fascination with the power of organic plants, fung shui, alternative medicine and sustainability. At the time, pure plant oils were hard to find. Disappointed in what was available, the two decided to produce their own organic formulas and fostered partnerships with like-minded farmers, first across Europe and eventually around the world. Primavera's first products - 15 essential oil scents - were unveiled at a seminar in 1986. They sold out almost immediately and the company has been a mainstay in the organic skincare and aromatherapy movement ever since.
