I signed up for this assignment as I wanted to experience the life of a reporter first-hand, understand more about radio drama and expand my horizons through new experiences - and I have to say I was not disappointed at all.

Meeting new people was not foreign to me, but interviewing them with impromptu questions was. It was enlightening being able to hear different perspectives on similar themes, and to be given the chance to form our own opinions as well as listen to others' comments. It also felt strange to be taking down notes while everybody else was performing, as part of me felt too drawn by the performances to write. I would be delighted to be a reporter again after this experience.

Theatre, dramas and even radio plays will top my list of favourite interests after being part of this Young Post special assignment. I have always loved writing articles and reporting events, and this was a golden chance for me to experience the real thing. I made new friends, interviewed the winners and judges, and had a few pleasant surprises too. It was fantastic and I am now considering becoming a reporter when I grow up. I would love to do it again or even be a part-time reporter at Young Post.

The whole experience of reporting the radio drama competition was very fulfilling.

I have always been passionate about writing and drama, and this assignment gave me the opportunity to meet various different and interesting people with whom I could network and share opinions.
