CHINA'S Air Force scrambled two bombers to attack and destroy a giant iceberg that was threatening the Yellow River, the People's Liberation Army Daily said yesterday. The two planes dropped more than 20 bombs during Monday's 40-minute operation to break up the iceberg as it passed through Inner Mongolia.
