Three more imported cases in Hong Kong

Hong Kong recorded three more swine flu cases yesterday, bringing the total number of cases in the city to 23. All of them are imported cases.

The first of the three latest cases involved a 21-year-old man who returned to Hong Kong on Thursday from New York on Continental Airlines flight 099. He wore a mask during the flight and sat in row 23.

The second case involved an eight-year-old boy from the United States. Accompanied by three family members, he arrived in Hong Kong yesterday from San Francisco on Singapore Airlines flight 1. Sitting in row 39, he developed a fever, cough and a runny nose during the flight. The third case involved a 19-year-old woman studying in the United States. She returned from New York on Thursday evening but her symptoms became apparent on Friday.
