Lily Chiang again fails to have fraud case moved

Lily Chiang Lai-lei was again refused leave for a judicial review of a judge's order to transfer her case to the District Court, which she says deprives her of the right to be tried before a jury. Mr Justice Alan Wright, in the Court of First Instance, yesterday declined her application for judicial review. Chiang, 48, a former chairwoman of the General Chamber of Commerce, faces charges in relation to an alleged share-option fraud.
