Life can't be easy for sister in dark shadow of troubled celebrity

It can't be easy riding your brother's coat-tails if your brother happens to be Edison Chen Koon-hei. Maybe that's why we haven't seen so-called 'celebrity model' Tricia Chen Kin-fei out and about much lately.

However, Edison's older sister was working Sunday afternoon, modelling body-contour garments for French lingerie brand Lytess at Olympia City - just a day after Edison left Hong Kong indefinitely again after 11 days in the city. Who knows how long this sojourn will be, considering indefinitely to him means anything between five minutes and eternity.

'I knew clearly what he meant when he said he's not coming back for an indefinite period of time, but some media just quoted him wrong when they suggested he was leaving forever,' said big sister Chen, trying to defend her brother.

'I myself wasn't sure when exactly he was coming back when he said indefinitely because at the time he did step away completely from the entertainment industry. And I still don't know what his exact plans are.'

No doubt Tricia is hoping Edison returns to the spotlight so she can continue to benefit from the nepotistic connection, otherwise what celebrity value would she have?

'I was so happy to see him. We hung out at his hotel room almost every day and we talked a lot. I'm glad he had a good trip to Hong Kong. He and Vincy [Yeung Wing-ching, Edison Chen's girlfriend] are doing really good now.'

On Tricia's busy itinerary this month is a trip to Malaysia for the opening of Edison's clothing store. Does that qualify as working hard or hardly working?
