Paul Bedell

Mr Bedell is developing and leading the long-term marketing and product strategy of the company to ensure delivery of revenue and profit targets. He is responsible for business intelligence, research, product development, customer promotions, channel marketing, brand management, media relations and e-commerce. Mr Bedell reports directly to chief executive Jeff Walker and is also a member of the company's executive committee. His experience includes leadership across the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia and, most recently, Hong Kong, where he served as regional director of retirement strategy at Prudential Corp Asia.

Anthony Miller

President and CEO

Pacific Alliance Japan

Mr Miller has been active in the investment banking and institutional direct investment industry for more than 18 years. He has worked with the Pacific Alliance Group for six years as an outside director and member of the investment committee for the Pacific Alliance Asia Opportunity Fund. He was president of Ramius Japan, a company he has been with since 2001, and was managing director at ARKaccess, a global electronic trading company. Previously, he was managing director and head of the Hong Kong office for the Carlyle Group. Mr Miller will assume his new role on July 1.

Kevin Qin

Mr Qin has more than 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, having a successful and diverse career at hotels in the Accor Group, including Novotel Beijing and Novotel Orchid Singapore, Novotel Hefei, Novotel Hangzhou, Sofitel Westlake Hangzhou and Sofitel Xanadu Resort, Hangzhou. Before joining Sofitel Zhongshan Golf Resort Nanjing, he was the general manager of the Panorama Shanghai (Accor Hotel).

Kitty Chan

National Australia Bank

Ms Chan joins National Australia Bank's private banking team in Hong Kong from ANZ, where she was a private banker for three years after returning to Hong Kong in 2005. Before that, she worked with Westpac, GE Money and HSBC before founding her own mortgage-broking business. Ms Chan has a degree in commerce from La Trobe University in Melbourne and is a postgraduate business administration student at the University of Western Sydney.

Tay Keng Puang

MassMutual Asia

Mr Tay is responsible for MassMutual Asia's overall business and strategic development in Hong Kong and Macau. Mr Tay is a 30-year veteran of the insurance industry with wide-ranging experience in insurance and Mandatory Provident Fund management. He joined the company in 1996 as senior vice-president. He is also president and director of MassMutual Trustees, and director of another five MassMutual Asia subsidiary companies, including MassMutual Asia Investors and MassMutual Insurance Consultants, which focuses on general insurance. In his new role, Mr Tay leads the company as it addresses new challenges.

Julian van den Bogaerde

Swissotel Hotels & Resort

Mr van den Bogaerde's appointment is in addition to his role as general manager of Swiss?tel Grand, Shanghai. Prior to his appointment in Shanghai, he was based in the head office of the group in Zurich as general manager.

Gillian Pang

Ms Pang will report to managing director Edward Lau and will be in charge of attracting, engaging and retaining quality talent to support the enhancement of TNT's customer experience and service culture. She said: 'People development and employee engagement have always been a priority for TNT, so I am truly excited about this opportunity to be part of this vibrant team and to further its credentials as a top place to work.' Ms Pang joins the Hong Kong team after three years as regional HR manager for TNT Southeast Asia and, most recently, as senior manager (people and organisation development) for TNT Greater China. She is a graduate of the University of York.
