Zhou leads Hong Kong exodus

Hong Kong's Zhou Mi suffered a humiliating defeat at the Indonesia Super Series event in Jakarta yesterday when the world number two lost to qualifier Sayaka Sato of Japan in the women's singles opener. Zhou, who won the Singapore Super Series title on Sunday, crashed out 21-11, 16-21, 21-19. Hong Kong's Yip Pui-yin also had an early exit, losing to Germany's Juliane Schenk 21-14, 21-16. Yohan Wiratama and Chau Hoi-wah were stopped in the mixed doubles by Nathan Robertson and Jenny Wallwork of England, losing 21-9, 19-21, 21-17. Wang Chen was the only survivor in the women's singles.
