An unemployed 53-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with raping two girls, aged 12 and 13, at his home in Kwai Tsing in the past week. Lau Kai entered no plea at Tsuen Wan Court to two counts of rape. He allegedly raped one girl on Saturday and the other on Monday. Magistrate Lambert Lee Ka-chai adjourned Lau's case to July 30 pending further police investigation. Lau was remanded in custody.
