1 Structured bags are back for autumn and Gucci has taken note. The Bamboo bag (top; HK$14,900) features the brand's signature bamboo handle with other details such as a bamboo closure and tassel. More special is the Crest Boule (right; HK$23,000), featuring gold-plated hardware decorated with the Gucci crest. The bags are available at Gucci, The Landmark, Central, tel: 2524 4492.

2 Nothing beats a classic pair of shades for the summer. Chanel's Perle eyewear collection is inspired by popular shapes from the 1960s and features pearls - an enduring brand signature - on the arms of each style. The highlight has to be the black and white version adorned with 18 pearls (pictured; HK$4,000). The sunglasses are available at Chanel, Prince's Building, Central, tel: 2810 0978.

3 Bulgari has released a collection of rings called Dedicated to Venice, which features four diamond engagement rings and a wedding band. Highlights include the Giudecca ring, a double-tier diamond band named after the island south of the Italian city. The line is available at Bulgari, Chater House, Central, tel: 2523 8057, prices upon request.

4 Gladiators make a comeback in Celine's summer sandal collection with a futuristic cool design in purple with an unusual ridged sole (above; HK$3,950). For the evening, there are a host of multistrap sandals with unusual heel details, including this black style (left; HK$7,800). The shoes are available at Celine, The Landmark, tel: 2525 1281.
