I think Hong Kong society in general does not encourage exposing one's body as a means to get attention. People will be offended. But for some new idols and models, it's a way to attract attention without any real talent or without training. It'll be difficult for them to continue with any longevity. As an artist, you can't just sell yourself on appearance. My work now also requires me to sing, act and be an MC for shows. I believe just relying on your figure will only work for a while
