Bamboo House hold sway at record-breaking meet

IT was a day of celebrations for Bamboo House, who won the inter-House overall championship at the Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School's 26th annual athletic meet, held recently at Kwai Chung Sports Ground.


Eight records were broken at a meet crowded with some 70 events.


Principal Tang Ping-leung attributed the outstanding performances to the students' enthusiasm and teamwork.


The guest-of-hour, Lo Wing-yin, Assistant Education Officer of the Special Education Section, presented the prizes.


RESULTS Overall champions - Boys' Grade A: Pine House; B: Camphor House; C: Pine House Overall champions - Girls' Grade A: Bamboo House; B: Camphor House; C: Pine House Individual champions - Boys' Grade A: Chan Kwok-pan; B: Lam Chung-ching; C: Chow Chun-yan.


Individual champions - Girls' Grade A: Lo Ka-man; B: Chan Kwok-ching; C: Leung Lok-sze Best Cheering Team: Bamboo House TWGSS Alumni Association Cup: Lo Ka-man.
