Lining your brows accentuates your features and frames your eyes. Shape your brows first, then fill them in with liner - just make sure you pick a shade which matches your hair colour.

Esprique Precious Soft Eyebrow Pencil (HK$185)

The soft, thin brush makes it extremely easy to draw your brows into any shape you want. Unfortunately it doesn't last long at all. Tel: 2866 3998

Fasio Eyebrow Pencil N (HK$49)

Wind-up liners are more convenient than pencils, and this one is particularly reliable. Solid enough not to break, but soft enough to go on smoothly and give a natural look. Tel: 2866 3998

Maquillage Soft Brow Liner (Refill HK$80, holder HK$110)

The flat, fat-headed liner requires no effort to draw bold lines. The waterproof colour smudges slightly if you're oily. The availability of refills should make this a green product, but the over-packaging makes this far from environmentally friendly. Tel: 2525 2522

IPSA Super Eye Brow Liner (HK$180)

A would-be innovative design, with two shades which blend and create a clever shadowed look. Unfortunately you need to be a pro to work out how to use it. And it snaps too easily. Tel: 2699 6886

Skinfood Black Bean Eye Brow Pencil (HK$55)

Extremely easy to apply, and the colour stays put for hours. The integral brush means you can have perfectly groomed brows wherever you are. Excellent value. Tel: 2834 9121
