A 20-metre-tall tree fell in the grounds of the Shek Kong Barracks at about 6.30am yesterday. The top branches of the tree fell on a road, while the trunk remained in the grounds of the barracks. Firemen were called to the scene to clear the road, while members of the People's Liberation Army removed the part of the trunk that was lying inside the military base. No injuries were reported.
