Mainland wealth fund names advisers

China Investment Corp, the mainland's US$200 billion sovereign fund, has appointed several well-known figures from Hong Kong and the mainland to its international advisory council. The members include former vice-premier Zeng Peiyan; Frederick Ma Si-hang, Hong Kong's former secretary of commerce and economic development; and Andrew Sheng, the chief adviser to the China Banking Regulatory Commission. The others are Lawrence Lau, of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Qian Yingyi, of Tsinghua University.
