A clear preference to shun question

Why is it so many people, fans and non-fans alike, get so worked up about whether I am gay or not? I think it's just like asking, 'Do you like or not like broccoli?' or 'Do you prefer autumn or summer?' It really doesn't matter. Whether the answer is yes or no, you approve or disapprove, this will not make my songs any better or worse. If people still make a fuss about it in this day and age, then they are perhaps just narrow-minded. Whatever. Make your jokes or write what you want, but please don't ask me this boring question again
