Two KMB route 49X double-decker buses crashed at almost the same spot in separate accidents yesterday morning, injuring 21 people. Both buses were damaged at the Sha Tin exit of the Shing Mun Tunnel. The first crash occurred at 6.05am, when a bus hit another double-decker. Five hours later, another route 49X bus crashed into the hillside. Both bus drivers have been suspended.
