EOC investigating two race complaints

The Equal Opportunities Commission had received two racial discrimination complaints since the Racial Discrimination Ordinance came into effect on July 10 and was investigating them, a spokeswoman confirmed yesterday. Unison, an NGO that assists ethnic minorities, said it had another five possible cases it might submit to the commission next month.
