A man was arrested for possessing drugs and assaulting a police officer in Carnarvon Road early yesterday. The man, 41, tried to run away when the officer attempted to stop him. About 28 grams of Ice was allegedly seized from the man's car. The officer, who suffered minor injuries when he struggled with the man, was treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
