Five women each bought a different type of flowers, each a different colour, and for different reasons. Can you work out which woman bought which type of flower, what colour they were and why they bought them?

1 Jenny bought pink flowers for her flat.

2 Yana bought peach coloured daisies as a thank you present.

3 The woman who bought flowers as a get well soon present did not buy roses.

4 Amy bought white flowers as a get well soon present.

5 Fenella bought the tulips.

6 Liza bought flowers for her office.

7 Rita bought purple carnations.

8 The woman who bought lilies bought red ones.

9 The woman who bought the flowers as a birthday present bought yellow ones.

Flower puzzle

Put the 19 six-letter words into the 19 numbered cells. The letters in the words must be written clockwise. The letters at the edges of interlocking cells must be the same. We have given you the word in cell 10 (search) and one letter in four other cells as clues.
