'Negotiating and influencing skills, the advanced negotiator' is a three-day intensive workshop developed by ENS International and organised by the Hong Kong Management Association. The workshop provides a framework to negotiate confidently, influence the negotiation process and develop skills to enhance competence. The purpose of the programme is to enhance skills to achieve higher levels of effectiveness by instilling good management process skills to ensure outcomes. Case studies, feedback, video clips and team-based scenarios will be used to reinforce concepts. Personal and situational action plans are also prepared along with coaching and critiqued rehearsal sessions.

'The tipping point and insights on the financial crisis' is a talk organised by the American Chamber of Commerce. The course is split into two parts: the tipping point and the understanding of the financial crisis. The first part will examine the role and importance of social power - relationships and interpersonal influence in creating change and the type of strategies that can be used. Part two will consist of discussions on the speaker's view on the financial crisis, which he believes is a result of failure brought on by overconfidence.
