Bomb threat on Afghan plane to Urumqi

A plane from Afghanistan scheduled to land in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, received a bomb threat and landed in Kandahar, Afghanistan, Xinhua reported early today. Armed police sources in Xinjiang had earlier said the plane had been hijacked.
