How do you win the loyalty of your employees?

Valuing people, caring for them, providing development opportunities, and building trust through two-way communication are all important elements to ensuring staff loyalty.

We implemented an employee caring programme series, featuring stress and EQ management, and a fruit campaign to boost motivation and personal wellness. By organising motivation and creativity talks, and management training and personal development programmes, we create a positive work environment. When employees feel that a company really cares for them, they will care for the company too.

AIA understands that commitment is a two-way street. We value our financial planners' contributions and provide plenty of opportunities for growth. By fostering new skills and qualifications and helping them meet professional goals, we want our employees to be proud of our organisation and to think of us as more than just another business entity.

Aside from sponsoring exam fees, we recently co-operated with HKU SPACE to design an 18 to 24 months professional diploma and executive certificate programme for all our new associate financial planners. We have invested about HK$50 million to train new financial planners.
