A higher intake of ocean fish greatly lowers the risk of osteoporosis in post-menopausal women, a Chinese University study has found. The fish have high levels of vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids, which increase bone density. Suzanne Ho Chan Sut-ying, a professor, suggested eating 100 grams daily, but not large fish due to their high mercury levels.
