Extracted from the flowers of citrus aurantium, neroli oil is said to have therapeutic benefits for the body and mind. It has a fresh, sweet, citrus scent and can produce a relaxing and soothing effect by relieving sore muscles. It's used for body massage and is often rubbed into scars and stretch marks. Neroli is also called orange blossom. It takes about 454kg of orange blossoms to make 45 grams of the essential oil. It is also used in perfumes and can be found in under-eye creams to help reduce the appearance of broken capillaries that give the impression of dark circles under the eyes.
