Beauty queen excused from jury service

Miss Hong Kong, Tracy Ip Chui-chui, was excused from serving on the jury of a High Court trial yesterday. Ms Ip told the court that she would not be able to attend because she had to work in Macau next week. Her request was approved by the judge on the grounds that jury service would cause unnecessary inconvenience.
