Mr Barta, based in Bangkok, will lead the Journal's coverage of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He will report to Nikhil Deogun, the deputy managing editor. Mr. Barta joined the Journal in 1997 as a staff reporter in the Houston bureau.
Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza
Mr Zancanaro has worked for Hyatt for more than 18 years. Before joining the team in Grand Hyatt Beijing he worked with Hyatt in Sydney, Sanctuary Cove, Melbourne and Perth. Last year, he was appointed director of food and beverage for Asia-Pacific, based in Hyatt's regional office in Hong Kong.
Director, fashion segment
Mr Cumming will head Lawson's fashion sales and strategic initiatives in the Asia-Pacific, supporting Lawson's move to align its focus. He joined Lawson in 2002 and was most recently the company's regional director of the Greater China region. In his new role, Mr Cumming will lead a team comprising sales, marketing and consulting.
Ms Chung will provide compliance support and solutions to fund management companies and hedge fund managers in Asia. She has more than 10 years of experience on legal and compliance issues in the industry. Ms Chung is also leading a research team on rules and regulatory requirements on hedge fund managers.
Director, Hong Kong operations
Mr Leung has more than 25 years of experience in the management and design of transport and urban infrastructure projects. Among the projects he is managing are the Jordan Valley Development, Kai Tak Nullah Reconstruction and reprovisioning for the new HKU Centennial Campus.
Managing director, Southeast Asia, South Asia
Mr Siripurapu will officially join the firm in November and will bring with him a team of nine. He will be responsible for developing the business and managing the Asia-based private banking teams covering the two regions. He brings with him 25 years' experience in investment and private banking.
Director, programme management
Mr Bezzano will be working on the company's major projects as well as focusing on project planning and control, risk management and commercial management on a number of other undertakings. He was the project director on Britain's leading sustainable project, Innovate Green Office.

Ms Wong joined the company in 1999 and helped develop customer retention strategies and programmes, and drove significant sales and customer loyalty campaigns for various clients. She had served as general manager of OgilvyOne Hong Kong from 2006 taking charge of day-to-day operations and leading several key clients.
