Cinecitta restaurant in Wan Chai will have a dinner on Monday featuring the wines of Tenuta dell'Ornellaia. The four-course meal includes risotto with peas, sheep ricotta and emulsion of sea urchins paired with the Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Le Serre Nuove 2007, braised Wagyu beef cheek with red wine, cinnamon, onion fondant and carrot-ginger mousse with the Ornellaia 2006, and pear and honey jelly served with the Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Grappa. Cepage in Wan Chai will have a dinner on September 19 featuring fine Burgundy wines. The wines - Domaine de la Romanee Conti Richebourg 1959, Leflaive Puligny Montrachet les Clavoillon vintages 1999, 1989 and 1979, Maison Leroy Echezeaux 1969, Bouchard Pere et Fils La Romanee 1979, and Mommessin Clos de Tart 1989 - will be served with dishes such as langoustine carpaccio with Cavaillon melon, fennel and oscietra caviar, pan-roasted quail with cep and girolle mushroom risotto, and oven-roasted Greffeuille triple-A lamb rack and loin from Aveyron. Amber at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Central is serving a set menu of Brittany blue lobster for lunch and dinner all month. The five-course meal includes lobster and shaved daikon ravioli with ginger and kaffir lime, lobster knuckles with penne, duck gizzards and heirloom tomatoes, and lobster tail roasted in the shell with chanterelles and root vegetables in bordelaise sauce. Aspasia at the Luxe Manor in Tsim Sha Tsui has a special menu of crab dishes until the end of the month.
