Chupa Chups is better known for its candies for kids, but the ex-smokers' market may be too hard to resist. It has put out the new Relax mini-lollies and it's packaged like a cigarette pack with the provocative tag '6 moments of pleasure ... Relax is a candy treat with a sophisticated taste and is a fun and tasty alternative to smoking'.

The company, whose name comes from the Spanish verb chupar meaning 'to suck', says it recommends 'candies instead of cigarettes'. We recommend sucking on anything instead of cigarettes.

The new lollipops contain lemon, herb and lime extracts, and also concentrated fruit pur?e from apples, cherries, raspberries, pineapples, lime, lemons, strawberries, peaches, bananas, oranges, bilberries and dewberries. They also have a citrus flavour.

But this didn't win over a reader who opposes smoking and said the design of the package encouraged people to smoke, adding: 'You people need to do a story on that.'
