Man guilty of strangling mainland lover

Yau Kit-keung, 50, was found guilty in the Court of First Instance of manslaughter for strangling his mainland lover with a curtain after she demanded that he choose between her and his wife. In a unanimous verdict, the jurors found Yau guilty of the manslaughter of Yong Xioqion, 31, known in Cantonese as Yeung Sau-king, on May 14 last year but found him not guilty of murder. Sentencing was adjourned to Monday.
