38-year-old swine flu sufferer dies

A 38-year-old man with swine flu and a history of diabetes and kidney failure has died in Princess Margaret Hospital, the 24th person to have contracted swine flu and died in Hong Kong. He was admitted to intensive care on Tuesday with flu symptoms and was given Tamiflu, Relenza, antibiotics and ventilation support, but was certified dead that night.
