Former Miss Hong Kong could well be 'cut-out' for music business after all

Who needs a Chrissie Chau Sau-na body pillow when you can get a Kate Tsui Tze-shan life-sized cardboard cut-out.

The former Miss Hong Kong and TVB star recently expanded her repertoire to dance music with the release of a four-song EP called Kiss Me Kate - although the jury is still out on how well she sings considering she went off-key several times and stumbled over lyrics in a recent performance. This seems to be a trend at TVB, as Tsui is the third actress after Myolie Wu Hang-yee and Linda Chung Ka-yan to make the crossover with a music album.

Over the weekend, the star had a successful record store appearance signing autographs and greeting fans.

Apparently, not only were 400 copies of her CD sold in the first hour, a cardboard display of Tsui in her dance-diva pose with bared midriff and hot pants was stolen from the storefront.

When she was told the next day, Tsui in all seriousness asked: 'What? It's stolen? To do what with it?'

To be honest, we don't want to know.
