Four drunk drivers snared in police blitz

Police arrested four drivers for drink-driving related offences during a weekend blitz. In the operation from Friday to Monday, 52 roadblocks and snap checks were mounted and 701 drivers breath-tested. Offenders face a maximum fine of HK$25,000, three years' jail and incur 10 demerit points. This year police have breath-tested 27,526 drivers and charged 136.
