Israeli diplomats celebrate new year
Jewish New Year
Where: Lounge, JW Marriott hotel
When: September 22

With folk song performances by a girls' choir and a prayer from rabbi Mordechai Avtzon, dignitaries then dug into the light buffet - and favourites such as chicken liver disappeared fast.
Who: Shalom greetings went out to Israeli Consul General Amikam Levy, Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs So Kam-shing, Chip Tsao, Manohar Chugh and special guest, Hamy Peres, son of former Israeli president Shimon Peres.
