Village two arrested over dumping clash

Two residents of Ho Sheung Heung village in Sheung Shui fighting illegal dumping on their farmland were arrested after a clash on Thursday with two other villagers. They were released on HK$500 bail and are required to report back to police on October 27. Hau Mo-yi, 53, and her sister-in-law, Chiu Kam-ho, 45, were accused of breaking a padlock. They said two villagers sprayed water on them as they photographed mud being dumped on their land.
