Slight symptoms of disordered thought and speech can be early warning signs of psychosis, according to a Hospital Authority study. It was the first research into early psychosis indicators with a Chinese study group. It involved observation of 62 people aged between 10 and 25 who were at risk of developing early psychosis. The study was conducted by Dr Lam Mei-ling of the University of Hong Kong's department of psychiatry.
