Drug smuggler jailed four years

A man who used 47 condoms to hide - around his waist and in his socks - 1kg of a chemical to make the drug Ice was sentenced yesterday to four years in jail. Ho Ka-ming, 27, pleaded guilty in the District Court to trying to fly pseudoephedrine to New Zealand, where he was to be paid NZ$10,000 (HK$56,200). Customs officers caught Ho on December 24. The chemical he was carrying could have yielded HK$5 million worth of ice.
