The front of a building, person or thing is the part that faces forward. That's easy to understand. The front of a vehicle is the section that moves forward and the front of a book or magazine is the cover. To make sure you understand these basic meanings, put the word 'front' in each of these sentences. And then read the sentence out aloud.

2 Do you want to sit at the ____________________ of the bus when it arrives?
