A subway at Sha Tin was closed yesterday after a wild boar became trapped in railings. Firemen freed the animal, which was handed over to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Separately, firemen rescued a boar stranded in a catchwater in Shek Hang, Sai Kung, at 6pm. It was taken to a government shelter.
